Token airdrop

13.7% of the total supply has been allocated to airdrop NET tokens, rewarding points holders and Ethereum contributors. This distribution celebrates individuals and communities aligned with Nektar’s vision of the Decentralized Concentration Economy (DCE). Learn how to claim.

Points system​

9% of the total supply (90,000,000 tokens) is reserved for Nektar drops holders, recognizing their early efforts and involvement in building the ecosystem.

Ethereum aligned communities​

4.7% of the total supply (47,000,000 tokens) is allocated to a community airdrop targeting groups and individuals who embody Ethereum’s ethos of decentralization and public goods. Eligible groups:

  1. Diva airdrop participants

    Recipients of the highly decentralized Diva Staking protocol airdrop, who demonstrated alignment with Ethereum ethos. Only community members with a positive attitude and proven commitment to Nektar’s core values were considered.

  2. EigenLayer airdrop recipients

    Participants of the EigenLayer (EL) airdrop who showcased their active support of Ethereum’s modular economy by staking more tokens than they received in the EL airdrop.

  3. ETH pre-genesis solo stakers

    The 2,010 unique validators who contributed to Ethereum’s transition to Proof of Stake. Their early belief in Ethereum’s vision laid the groundwork for today’s decentralized infrastructure.

  4. Active DeFi users

    Recognizing 10,000 top DeFi users across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base for their contributions to Ethereum’s vibrant DeFi ecosystem. Selection was based on activity in the past 30 days, including:

    • Total transaction count
    • Transaction value
    • Engagement with multiple DeFi protocols (DEX trading, lending, borrowing, and bridging)

    These users represent the backbone of Ethereum’s liquidity and innovation.

  5. Supporters of Ethereum public goods

    Acknowledging contributors who have supported Ethereum’s open-source ecosystem through sustained generosity and alignment with its core values:

    • Gitcoin donors: The top 10,000 donors to Gitcoin Grants across all funding rounds, whose contributions have directly fueled community-driven projects and public goods.
    • Octant donors and patrons:
      • Donors who participated in Epoch 5 allocation windows, contributing positive value to supported projects.
      • Patrons with Patron Mode enabled at the close of Epoch 5, reflecting a dedication to Ethereum's long-term success.
